The staff were most helpful and attentive, indeed ,my wife and I, whilst waiting , were asked "had we eaten etc and then made us a cup of tea with a buiscuit which was most appreciated. my treatment from first to last was efficient and kind.
Very difficult to find the hospital. Confusing road signs.
No indication as to which car park would be best for ward.
In the hospital confusing names for various departments.
Very pleased with everything , many people there but the whole experience was 1st class. Lovely caring staff well done all
I looked for a solution to my medical problem and although not yet concluded, it seems we have found it.
it was all very well handled and the staff were very kind.
Where is Mr Dearing in panto this year (!)
Please think about labelling the TIA department on signage as no one knew where you were! Typed by son on behalf of Arthur Sutton the patient
.
The speed and efficiency of my treatment belied all I read about the NHS and waiting times. The staff were friendly, efficient and informative.
1. The kindness of all the staff.
2. A quick demonstration of how to use the switch button for turning on the radio or activating the bell, as well as altering the rake of the top end of the bed, would be useful for those of us who haven't been in hospital before.
Care on the day of my assessment was fantastic. The only comment I would have is that no one actually told me I was going to the stroke clinic. I presented with lightheaded see and vertigo symptoms. I was worried about the possibility of TIA or stroke but by GP didn't mention stroke, it wasn't until after all the tests when I saw the consultant when he said, "you are in the stroke clinic" that I was specifically told what they were specifically looking for. But that is only a very minor point for what was a really great, professional and fast service.
I spent 11 days altogether on the maternity ward prior to the birth of my baby and then postnatally. Amazing staff on the ward from the domestic staff through to the student midwives, midwives and healthcare assistants. The ward was at times very busy but the midwives always made time to explain why they were running late or what was happening with my care. Excellent person centred care received. Would highly recommend the ward to other expectant or postnatal mums.
